It's the last progress update of 2022!

Next week I'll be putting together our yearly summary, which is both my favorite devlog of the year — yay, look at all this progress — and my most dreaded one — time to see just how efficient my filing system is (＋_＋)

Also, there's still one day left to join our art giveaway. I'm loving every one of the OCs you have been sharing with us, I wish I could draw them all! (If I'm not so busy in January, maybe I actually will hahaha)

☐ Script

I've finished the script for Kanzen's Day 2 and 3, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm sweating. The chapters might be a little shorter, but they are intense. His route took off like a rollercoaster at full speed, which I guess is fitting considering his personality.

He's cute, but damn, why is he suddenly so hot?? I'm having all kinds of feelings for this man right now, I don't even know what to say anymore, I'm just going to excuse myself and go take a cold shower.

☐ Sprites

The intros of our three security staff are up, and with that our Character Page is at last complete °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

I'm going to share Erline again, because why not hahaha

She waited so long for her debut, she deserves more time in the spotlight.

And just like that, let me drop a teaser of Kanzen's new alternative sprite. You've seen ponytail-Kanzen, but how about braid-Kanzen? (￢‿￢ )

Any guesses as to where you will be meeting him? (hint: not at a Hallowen party, though he could probably easily blend in lol)

☐ Backgrounds

Remember the WIP we shared some time ago of this CG?

I finished the background, so Moon can finally work on the shading and complete it!

Zanas can appear cold and distant towards you in the opening beats of the game, so I wanted to insert a scene where you get a glimpse of his warmth and thoughtfulness, those sides of him he doesn't feel comfortable showing you yet. 

How would it feel to have that smile directed at you? What will it take for him to finally lower his walls and share his secrets with you?

While I rendered this background, I considered how to evoke a sense of desire and longing not only through words but through visuals too.

Moon has started work on 3 more CGs, which are still in draft stage so I can't share them yet, I'll just say you'll get to see different sides of Hano and Kanzen and I'm now in dire need of another cold shower hahahha

And here's a little chibi pfp I drew for our amazing PR manager Meri, who even while on holiday still maintains our Twitter active and lively — which in turn maintains my sanity intact.
