We teased, and now she’s here, it’s “Waterwalker” Deymera, or queen Deya as we like to call her lol.

(And this is more or less where Moon and I realized neither of us has the vaguest idea of how makeup works (٥˙▿˙ ) We’ll be fine … right?)

Deymera is a supporting character in Kanzen’s route. She and Scai are always at each other’s throats, and Mune often gets dragged into the crossfire of their quarrels. On the other hand, she has a good relationship with both Kanzen and Zanas.

And here is a teaser for the next supporting character! Hopefully, we’ll be able to introduce him in the next update.

Moon sprained their back last week and is still recovering, so the art front is stalled at the moment. But we planned for such unforeseen circumstances, so overall we haven’t fallen behind on our schedule.

On the other hand, this week I was planning to only get as far as outlining Kanzen’s route and getting a general feel of where the story is going, but in the end I got everything down except the last four and a half scenes. At that point, the brain juices ran out. Again, if it helps you to think in terms of numbers, the script for Act 1 is now around 84k words (roughly half of our estimated final length).

While I mull over what’s the wackiest and cutest way to set up a pool date with Kanzen, I did some UI work. Ta-da, shiny new animated profile page for the boys.

Also, since the draft of the script is almost complete, I did a quick BGs count, and it looks like we will be adding 52 new ones. In summary, in Act 1 we will see a total of 86 backgrounds, distributed across 30 locations (19 areas and 11 rooms / shops).
